![]() The Software Download Page
Please note this software will only run on Risc OS Computers.Welcome to my software download page. Rather than clutter up this page with my meanderings, I have created my own mini blog, which I will use to record the odd thought that I get (I do have the occasional thought!!). I am keen to get Passwords converted but have a number of issues that have to be resolved before it can be converted. It is likely that a straight conversion will be carried out with a later upgrade to follow. This is my favourite piece of software, and the aim is to make it even better. As the software is converted I am taking the source files off line, as I have run into copyright issues. Sorry about that. The software on this page comes, in several forms. Some of the programs are examples to help you with your own programs and may not therefore be complete applications. Others are complete applications, which work and can be distributed freely, as long as the !help file within each application is kept with the program. If you find bugs or would like to see an enhancement made then please contact me. All software is treated as is and I will not accept liability for loss of data, the programs are used at your own risk.
I have realised that I have created some confusion, as I have updated parts of the site, but not others. !Passwords is 32 bit neutral, although it still uses Wimpbasic. So if you have Iyonix or A9, you can run it without problems. !Spritemake, and !Callsign, are not 32 compatible and will need to be run under Aemulor. The easiest way to do this is to change the filetype of the !run file from obey to obey26. Spritemake has not been converted, as it is seriously out of date, only having support for the old RISC OS file formats (It was written in 2001). If I get round to updating it then I will convert it. In programming terms it is quite simple, but it is the various sprite formats and sizes that make it difficult. !Callsign has not been converted, since it won't compile for some reason. I am not sure about the future of this program. If people use it, and want further development please let me know. It is quite an esoteric piece of software, and I am currently only aware of one user. To convert the software would be a major undertaking. Lines that are greyed out, indicate that it has been withdrawn, as the new version has either been released or will be very shortly. All programs require Risc OS 3.1x or greater to run, and require the Wimpbasic Modules which can be downloaded from this site.
Source = The source file for you to compile with Wimpbasic (Version 2 only).
